Aerobatic Training

Aerobatics is precision flying. Not stunts, not recklessness — precision. By definition, aerobatics involves flying an aircraft under exact control through unusual attitudes, demanding a level of skill, awareness, and discipline that makes every other kind of flying feel more manageable. If you want to become a genuinely capable pilot, aerobatic training is one of the most effective paths to get there.
What You'll Gain
Aerobatic training develops skills that carry into everything you fly. You'll build a deeper understanding of aircraft aerodynamics and control — particularly the relationship between Angle of Attack (AoA) and aircraft performance — along with all-attitude awareness and proper energy management throughout the full flight envelope. The result is a pilot who is more confident, more precise, and more capable of handling whatever comes their way.
Aerobatics is also one of the few disciplines in aviation that offers continuous challenge. There is always a maneuver to refine, a sequence to sharpen, or a new skill to develop — which makes it as rewarding long-term as it is engaging from the very first flight.
Not sure where to start?
Hesitation about aerobatics is common, and it's completely understandable. What most pilots find, however, is that the anticipation is worse than the reality. Every aerobatic flight at Benz Aviation begins with a thorough pre-flight briefing so you know exactly what to expect before you leave the ground. From there, training progresses gradually — starting with gentle, confidence-building maneuvers before moving into more dynamic flight. Concerns about motion sickness are also manageable; with proper pacing, technique, and remedies as needed, most students find those issues diminish significantly with additional flying.
Our aerobatic training is tailored to your comfort level making it the most friendly way to find out what aerobatic flying is all about.

UPRT Recommended
Completion of a UPRT course is strongly recommended before beginning aerobatic training. The foundational skills developed in UPRT — all-attitude awareness, energy management, and stall/spin recognition — translate directly into aerobatic flying and will make your training safer and more effective from the start
