BENZ AVIATION FLIGHT TRAINING PROGRAMS
Welcome to Benz Aviation’s Flight Training Page. We are the only Cessna Pilot Center in West Michigan. What does that mean for you? We offer training for the pilot who wants to fly for pleasure or business, as well as those seeking a career in aviation.
Benz Aviation will train you for a career in the ever growing aviation field!! The airlines are hiring like crazy right now. That is correct despite popular beliefs. The regional airlines have lowered their minimum flight hour requirements by more than 50% over the last year. The outlook right now is that this trend will continue through the year 2020.
Benz Aviation is pleased to announce that we are planning to start a part 141 operation in the fall of 2008. What does this mean for you as a pilot? Well first and foremost financial aid will be available to anyone wishing to complete flight training. Secondly we are currently pursuing the ability to provide college level programs with the 141 rating that you would be able to apply to certain universities and achieve a Bachelors Degree right here in Ionia!!! That’s right! Earn a Bachelors Degree in Aviation Science without even leaving your home town area.
Benz Aviation employs two full-time instructors and two part-time instructors. We have the best training equipment in the area as far as the prices are concerned. Our oldest aircraft is a 2001.
We pride ourselves in safety and pass rates on FAA check rides. To date our lead instructor has a 100% first time pass rate on all check rides, and one of our part-time instructors is a Master CFI, the highest award given to a flight instructor.
We look forward to giving you your first introductory ride and hope we can help you plan your aviation goals. See me in the Clouds!!
